Erica concentrates her practice primarily in all aspects of real estate law and has represented developers, buyers, sellers, landlords, lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants in a wide array of commercial real estate transactions. Her experience includes representing clients of many sizes, in a variety of real estate acquisitions, dispositions and development and redevelopment projects locally and across the country. She represents convenience store operators and motor fuel distributors in property acquisitions and redevelopment transactions. She has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of multi-family housing projects. Erica assists lenders and borrowers in negotiating commercial loan transactions for a variety of transactions.
Additionally, Erica has provided representation for leasing transactions with regional and national tenants throughout the United States, including big box and department store tenants and restaurant groups. She has overseen multi-million dollar redevelopment real estate projects with developers, mall owners and tenants.
Prior to joining Wooden & McLaughlin, Erica was corporate counsel for The Finish Line USA, Inc. and Simon Property Group, Inc., focusing on retail leasing and redevelopment work. She began her legal career practicing commercial, corporate bankruptcy, real estate lending and real estate law at Baker & Daniels, LLP in Indianapolis
