E-Discovery & ESI
Discovery involving Electronically Stored Information (“ESI”) or E-Discovery has changed the complexion of modern litigation. Even relatively small cases can involve gigabytes of relevant email and other ESI that lawyers and their clients must consider for preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, and production. Wooden’s E-Discovery team has handled a wide variety of ESI productions that have implicated data stored in the United States and abroad.
Three of our attorneys have passed the four hour certification examination of the Association of Certified Electronic Discovery Specialists (“ACEDS”). The examination covered topics such as project planning, litigation hold implementation, document review, data processing, budgeting and more. With these hard earned skills and significant experience, our E-discovery team helps clients efficiently manage and reduce the costs to identify, preserve, collect, review and produce documents for legal proceedings and company investigations. We can also assist clients to create or update their record keeping and data retention policies to ensure efficiency in meeting business and legal needs and goals.
