
Rural Development Guaranteed Lending
Wooden McLaughlin’s attorneys frequently represent lenders in Option 1, 2 and 3 loans under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Section 538 Guaranteed Rural Rental Housing Program with USDA Rural Development offices around the country. Our experience includes Option 3 loans with LIHTC, tax exempt bonds and various state subsidy and loan programs. We also are experienced with Section 538 loans funded by various sources such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA) securities, and by the sale of whole loan participations to other investors.
